What is ME402 Compriband Ali-Tape?

Unlike the expanding foam products in the Compriband range, ME402 is a surface-applied butyl sealing tape. Its aluminium-faced backing provides a tough, weather-resistant barrier, while the butyl layer bonds and seals around joints, seams and overlaps.

Choose ME402 when the requirement is to bridge and seal a surface joint or overlap with an airtight, vapour-resistant, weather-resistant tape. For movement joints that need a breathable expanding foam seal, select an impregnated foam product such as TP600 NG instead.
